A play on words. This piece was one of the first to emerge as part of what would become an ongoing collection of self portraits. Born out of a need to create during the initial Covid-19 quarantine, Carrington unifies their knowledge of costumes, lighting, and scenery to use self portraits as way of creating in isolation. This photo is a reflection of all the time the artist spent in bed, and how finding ways to create kept them going.
