Gylanni was a Great Plains Theatre Commons Design Wing Fellow in 2025. The yearly play festival features several new plays and designs presentations on those plays. Other 2025 fellows include Ebony Burton, Rodrigo Hernandez Martinez, Evdoxia Ragou, and David Forsee.

Gylanni was a Boundless Exposed Fellow in 2024. Each year Boundless selects three designers of color and asks them to collaborate and devise a piece. Together with their other fellows, Eliana Yost and Stephanie Lopez, they created Translucent.
